Five antique Victorian walnut JAS Shoolbred dining chairs
Five elegant antique Queen Anne style walnut dining chairs
By JAS Shoolbred & Co
Victorian
Solid walnut with curved backs and front cabriole legs
Terracotta velour seat cushions which are marked and need reupholstering
54cm wide x 55cm deep x 102cm high
Seat height 47cm
The is some fading on the top of the backs which add to their antique charm. There are also several scuffs and marks from age and use. I have oiled and polished the wood which minimises these scuffs a bit but the buyer may want to rub down and refinish the wood.
One of the backs is a bit loose due to a split, see photos. Two chairs have a slightly wobbly leg which would benefit from gluing
Once fully restored these chairs will make a statement with their elegant style and rich history.
