TERMS OF SALES
All goods shall remain in the sole ownership of My Vintage Market (the vendor) until such times as all monies payable have been received by the vendor.
All orders are subject to availability, plus postal charges if applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any order where there is a material error in the description of the good or the advertised prices.
All antique, vintage and second-hand used items may have age related wear and marks from previous use.
All items are described as accurately as possible. Unless an item is hallmarked or dated, it is not possible to give an exact date the item was made. Items are therefore given approximate dates to the best of Our knowledge.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately display the colour of our goods in the photos, We cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the goods on delivery. If in doubt You are advised to examine actual samples of the colour before placing Your order. Please contact Us prior to placing your order.
Any electrical items are sold without PAT testing unless specifically noted. You are advised to have a qualified electrician to review these items prior to usage
Payment – Payment is processed over a secure SSL/256 bit encryption system which goes through secure and GDPR compliant third party payment providers including Stripe and PayPal. My Vintage Market does not store Your debit or credit card information. Please see Our privacy policy for more information.
Returns – United Kingdom customers have certain cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. My Vintage Market offers the below return policy;
a. Under distance selling regulations, You have the right to return Your item for a refund. We must be notified within 14 days of receipt of the item. You then have another 14 days to return Your item. You are responsible for the return postage cost. It is Your responsibility to make sure the item is not damaged in the return process. For this reason, We recommend that if You are using a courier or postal service to return, You use a signed and tracked service.
b. We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that We can only refund the price of the item, not the original delivery cost. Items must be returned unopened and in their original condition as they were sent out. Under distance selling regulations, You have an obligation to take care of the products whilst in Your possession. Where You have failed to take care of them, We reserve the right to refund You less any amount to either repair the product or cover any loss.
c. All antique, vintage and second-hand items may have age related wear. We include lots of photographs of Our products as well as a detailed description. We try to be as accurate as possible so as not to disappoint Our buyers. If an item is faulty or does not match the description, We will cover the return costs and also refund You the original postage charge. Please contact Us to arrange the return.
d. To return an item, please contact Us via louise@myvintagemarket.co.uk, 07884432525 or use the customer services form on Our Website. We will then provide You with the return address.
e. Cancellation - If You wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, We will issue You a full refund. If the order has been dispatched, You will need to wait for it to arrive then return to Us for a refund as detailed above.
f. Bespoke items - All goods made to customer’s specifications (bespoke products made specifically to order) are non-returnable. The cancellation policy is detailed below.
Damaged/Lost Goods – Where goods are delivered to or received by the customer damaged or there is a shortfall, then We must be notified within 14 days of receiving the goods. No such claim will be accepted outside of this time limit. Any return, refund or re-delivery is subject to the provision by You of proof of damage or shortfall as We may reasonably require. We accept no liability for lost parcels beyond the value of the goods.
Any information, whether verbal or in writing of any kind (including on Our Website), is for guidance only and is given in good faith but without warranty. In any event We do not accept any liability whatsoever for the performance or non-performance of any goods beyond the value of those goods (for example, We shall not be liable in respect of wasted time or additional costs incurred by any person such as labour costs nor shall We be liable in respect of any alleged consequential losses of any person).
Delivery - Any quoted delivery times are estimates only. My Vintage Market offers the below delivery policy;
a. All prices stated exclude postage and packaging. Any quoted delivery times are estimates only.
b. Delivery of Small Items - Smaller items under 10Kg can be posted subject to size and weight. These items will be sent via Royal Mail, Parcelforce or Hermes. We aim to dispatch the items as soon as possible. Dispatch times may vary due to availability. We cannot be held responsible for any delay incurred once the parcel has left Our premises. We accept no liability for lost parcels beyond the value of the goods.
c. We only ship within the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. We do not ship to the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands.
d. delivery Charges - Postage costs are dependant on size, weight and value of the goods. Prices will be indicated at checkout.
e. Urgent Orders - If you require Your items to be delivered urgently, please contact Us before ordering so We can quote a price for the most appropriate postal service.
f. Collection of Large Items - You are welcome to arrange Your own courier to collect larger items. Please contact Us if You would like help with this process. All items are available for collection in person. Please contact Us to arrange collection. All items must be paid for prior to collection.
The exclusions and limitations do not affect (and are subject to) Your statutory rights as a consumer, which cannot be excluded by law.
All goods, which are to be collected, must be collected within three months of order failing which they shall be deemed to become Our property and may be returned to stock or disposed of.
Promotional codes and Offers - From time to time, We may offer promotional codes or offers which may apply to any, or certain specified purchases made through This Website. The following conditions apply:
a. Each promotional code/offer will be subject to specific terms & conditions specified at the time the promotional code/offer is issued (including the length of time of the offer). Once the promotional code/offer has expired, You will not be able use it.
b. Only one promotion code/offer can be used against an order at any one time.
c. A promotional code/offer can not be applied to an order after it has been placed.
d. We cannot accept any responsibility once We have given You a promotional code/offer and We are not obliged to provide You with a replacement if it gets lost and/or gets used by someone else.
e. We have the right to cancel, modify or suspend a promotional code/offer at any time for reasons beyond our control.
f. If Promotional codes/offers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If You receive a promotional code/offer, it can only be used by You on Your own account for the purpose for which it was issued. You must keep it confidential. Do not pass Your promotional code/offer directly on to others or make it available to others (for example, posting it on social media or on a forum). If we believe that at the point of purchase or retrospectively You are abusing the use of promotional codes/offers in any way, We reserve the right to cancel Your code/offer without letting You know beforehand.
g. We reserve the right to amend these promotional codes/offer terms and conditions at any time.
These terms and conditions and any claims arising in relation to goods ordered or supplied shall in be governed by English Law and any dispute arising under or in connection with the foregoing shall be for the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

TERMS OF CUSTOMER COMMISSIONS (ITEMS MADE TO CUSTOMERS SPECIFICATIONS)
We will provide You with an agreement document, detailing the full specification of the project, total cost and deposit amount due.
A deposit of 25% of the total price must be received and the agreement document must be completed, signed and dated before the project can commence.
Full payment is required once the project has been satisfactorily completed. An invoice will be issued to You.
Payment must be received within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or PayPal.
In the event of late payment, there will be a penalty of 5% of the total invoice per month thereafter.
If You decide to make any changes to the agreed specification, We will amend the total cost to cover additional labour time and materials. An amended agreement will be issued to You.
Cancellation Policy: Under consumer rights You have a 14 day ‘cooling off period’. If You change Your mind and decide You no longer wish to continue with the project, You have the right to cancel within the first 14 days. However, if work has commenced, You will be charged for the hours of work already undertaken and any materials already purchased.
You must collect the completed items within 60 days. Any items uncollected by this time, without prior arrangement, will be returned to stock or disposed of.
If You are instructing a courier to collect Your item, You are responsible for the payment of all charges.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring once the item has been collected and has left Our premises
Handling Items - We are not responsible for any loss or damage – direct or consequential – that You may suffer as a result of this agreement. In all cases Our liability shall be limited to the total price quoted for the project.
All projects are handcrafted and use second hand or vintage items. There will therefore be some imperfections and signs of use and wear.
We will provide care instructions for Your item. We are not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of You not caring for Your item as instructed.
If you require a home visit, for visits outside a 10 mile radius of Tewin, We will charge mileage to Your premises in addition to any other expenses such as car parking and congestion charges if applicable.
Insurance - We have Public Liability Insurance.
