Rare original antique 1930s Art Deco leaded stained glass window sign, estate agent, salvaged, white opaque, amber and receded glass

£385.00

Rare and stunning antique Estate Agent glass sign, salvaged from the 1930s.

This original piece is typical of the Art Deco era in its leaded stained glass patterned design. The ornate opaque white lettering is set against an amber stained and clear glass mottled background, encased in an outer border of reeded clear glass and amber pieces.

This unique relic has been passed down through generations from a historic Estate Agency business

Dimensions;
159cm wide x 62cm high (approx 5 x 2ft)

There are a few cracks on individual sections and one bent piece of lead on the left edge as per photos. This adds to its antique character but could be restored if desired. Otherwise in good condition. No missing pieces.

The piece is delicate and very malleable, so care must be taken transporting. Collection only in person is recommended. Ideally a frame could be added to give it strength. It was previously showcased inside a glass coffee table.

A beautiful rare antique piece which would make a statement displayed in a home or business.
