A rare Mid century G Plan E Gomme dressing table from the China White Librenza range
Circa 1950s
A l blonde oak veneer with taupe drawer front and brass knobs
Floating top and black and brass tapered legs
Three mirrors. Central tiling mirror flanked by two swivel mirrors with brass detail
Comes with the original E Gomme stool with the signature black floating base.
125cm wide x 133cm high (including mirror) x 47cm deep
Table top height 74cm
Stool 52cm wide x 42cm deep x 43cm high
The top has been oiled and polished and the black legs refinished. There are some marks on the top which have penetrated deep into the wood. However, these don’t detach from its beauty. One small chip on the side of the central mirror. Otherwise in very good condition.
I also have a chest of drawers in this range and coming soon, a matching wide chest of drawers/sideboard. I am currently restoring this but it can be reserved.
